7 августа 2013 года, nato.ucoz.ru В период с 25 августа по 6 сентября 2013 года в Норвегии на территории и в воздушном пространстве над военно-воздушной базой Ёрлэнд (Oerland Main Air Station) состоится учение объединенных военно-воздушных сил НАТО Brilliant Arrow 2013 (BAW13). Общее руководство данным мероприятием будет осуществлять командование ОВВС НАТО (Рамштайн) (Headquarters Allied Air Command (HQ AIRCOM)). В учении примут участие около 800 военнослужащих и 50 самолетов из 10 стран-членов НАТО: Франции, Германии, Греции, Италии, Нидерландов, Польши, Португалии, Норвегии, Турции и Великобритании. Цель учения - отработка вопросов взаимодействия союзной авиации в ходе оказания воздушной поддержки и проведения воздушных операций в период нахождения на боевом дежурстве в составе воздушного компонента очередной смены Сил быстрого реагирования НАТО (NATO Response Force) в 2014 году.
Оригинал сообщения (http://www.baw13.hq-aircom.de/) The live flying exercise Brilliant Arrow 2013 (BAW13) is conducted primarily from the Oerland Main Air Station, Norway, from 25 August to 6 September 2013. The event is organised by NATO’s Headquarters Allied Air Command (HQ AIRCOM) in coordination with the Host Nation Norway. The aim of BAW13 is to provide training for 800 exercise participant sand 50 NATO jets preparing them for their roles as NATO Response Force (NRF) assets during the stand-by period in 2014. The live flying in a realistic and challenging environment allows aircrews and controllers from ten Allied nations to execute force integration training for NRF14 at the air component level. In addition to Norway, the other NATO members France, Germany, Greece, Italy and the Netherlands (both countries do not deploy assets at Oerland), Poland, Portugal, Turkey and the United Kingdom have made their personnel and materiel available for BAW13. Flying operations will commence on 26 August and end on 5 September 2013 with two waves of aircraft operating in Norwegian airspace. There will be no flying activity at night or on weekends.
